Aureole is a Popplio Magus of the Resurgent Maelstrom. I had trouble understanding what a Magus was in Pathfinder for a little bit but it's honestly very simple; A Magus is basically a hybrid melee spell caster like an Eldritch Knight Fighter or a Bladesinger Wizard but they are a fusion of both.
The Resurgent Maelstrom Magus specialize with Improved weapons being able to turn any object deadly with the force of a tidal wave behind it. Streams of water flow from their limbs and surround the weapon to add force to their attacks. Aureole could use anything laying around but his main weapons are 3 metal balls that refract light. He can throw around and juggle to create a brilliant light display or throw them at enemies like they were shot from a canon.
