oops! Entry 7 was meant to be about GN, but I realised while setting it up that 1) I'd need to finish his ref (scary) and 2) the entry itself was to be his backstory and explanation for existing. and it turns out it's pretty hard to write a fanfic based on a daydreamt oc amv you had 5 months ago and only wrote half of at the time. This is also partly incomplete but that’s latererer me’s problem,  cus i wanted to get this out for New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day - prior to 2026, really. and i wanted to stop rereading this shit for the Nth time.

large chunks of this entry were actually written at least sometime prior or around july 2025. i dont have exact dates or nothing but yeah. These are kinda old as dirt. but yeah. a lot of this Aileirtsa AU fandom crossover nonsense is basically hinged on Thomas and Friends junk and there's nothing you can do to stop me.

As i slowly but surely started putting this entry together from… innumerous jot notes and various random strings of digital chickenscratch that were all related but not properly stapled together, i started to see how fucking long it was getting, but then i remembered ppl on furaffinity will put entire stories into descs of single images so uh. Yeah. here you go. Over 2000 words of yapping about how Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends and Psychonauts are tied together in my fandom/oc crossover nightmarescape.

Rainbow Sun is the OG locomotive god, no face but she is alive. Is from and stays in the Shmeing universe, which is the source of Gold Dust, which is the local magick of Shmeing. Gold Dust can kinda do whatever the fuck you want it to, but also a lot of things you don't want it to do. Keeping the stuff stabilised is kinda bitch. Remember that.

That Guy Who Built Lady Who I Forgot The Name Of Because I Don't Care About The Humans Of The TTTE Series builds lady, and by having been built in Shmeing is imbued with Gold Dust.

By means I haven't determined yet, Lady ends up on Sodor, on Earth2, in the Nairedus universe. By being a locomotive and also full of/a source of Gold Dust, she ends up i dont know fucking enchanting the damn planet and all locomotives built on it are alive but with faces because it wasnt originally full of Gold Dust - what im saying is that by existing in the Nairedus universe Lady cursed all locomotives built to be alive. But because the magick is completely foreign, so much so that originally Nairedus had no form of magick to its name at all, weird shit happens, like only 99% of locomotives have faces, and the rolling stock are alive but only like half of them have faces but they CAN all speak, and an even lower and weirder percent of non-rail vehicles and other mechines, like cars boats and fucking cranes, can be affected too. usually alive, sometimes with faces, sometimes can be faceless and speak sometimes not.

skipping Lady and Great Northern's Sodor and British Rail lore because we dont care rn. That’ll be in a different entry, hopefully the next one, actually.

all you need to know is that like... 50? ish years down the line(lol) Great Northern (GN) ends up syphoning part of Lady's power, and by extention gets imbued with Gold Dust himself, becoming a source of the same magick and uses it to leave Nairedus because its shit and Lady fucked up it and is a horrible person/train.

GN ends up in Aileirtsa, actually really early into its existence (bby universe), and the local pantheon (which isn't even fully developed yet at that point) is like “yeah you can stay, here you can have this chunk of the universe. Well put it in a bubble so that your foreign Gold Dust magick doesnt fuck up our Goklony’a” and GN is like “great cool thanks to much” and basically makes Earth4 with Rodos on it, and opens a portal so that his boyfriend and brothers can follow, but theres train drama regarding Lady cus some fuckers kinda liked her and want to stay in Nairedus even though they literally wont be an artificial enslaved spieces anymore. It's a mess but the point is there's a semi-open portal between Sodor of Nairedus and Rodos of Aileirtsa so that the locomotives can have their deity drama. But theyre in the bubble so Foklony’a, the local magick of Aileirtsa, can’t fuck shit up and vice versa.

GN ends up on good terms with a few of the Deities, including Jukei the deity of knowledge and Xokly'ang and Tsizh the deity of Reix, and much more importantly, Tsanai'a. They talk about boring Creator Deity things, and Tsanai’a grants Great Northern access to Goklony’a. This will have no consequences.

One of the main things about Gold Dust is that locomotives that are in Aileirtsa can freely use it, although not with the strength or precision that GN (or Lady) has, unlike in Nairedus where only Lady can use it.
Also, Goklony’a can only be used if you are worshipping the apporient Deities. Proper worship at all basically gives you access to all forms of goklony'a, but you'll be best with whatever that Deity is the holder of. If you're good enough at worshipping you can be really good with multiple elements. Fancy.

Earth4(placeholder name) does actually have “humans”, aka Human3s(placeholder name). Human3s weren't meant to be able to use Gold Dust, as its locomotive magick. But because of the disturbance caused by GN entering and exiting the bubble with his mixed magick access, meant the little bastards figured out how to use magick. Originally, GN was going to go to the Homies™, but turns out they felt something was off and came to him first. Specifically Jukei, Tsizh, Zormalfym, Saishau, Pforeh, Gehwhaible, and Let. Dzevuzh also felt a strange sensation but didn't bother about it as they were busy helping their sibling Qishwe'yx run their own planet.

Something to note is that Tsish is a deity fearful of their own body and nature - anything they come into contact with is instantly corroded away into the raw code of the universe, anything the object or person was also in contact with with have the 'glitch' passed onto, spreading like a disease. Due to this, they constantly float around and spend nearly all of their time in isolation, lest they come to enjoy something or someone and destroy it like everything else. initially did not want to come, but was (barely) convinced to by their older sibling Jukei, as the interactions with Gold Dust may produce different reactions with their physicality than normal.

These lot check out Earth4 and take a closer look at a ‘hot spot’, which turns out to be the Motherlobe. Yes the psychonauts stuff is getting tied in finally.

The only things of note right now regarding the psychonauts stuff is that 1) the games play out exactly as normal, just id imagine that the canon timeline consists of Razputin 100%ing all three games. 2) this deity stuff is taking place 2 years after the events of psychonauts 2’s post game. Nothing relevant to the deity stuff happens within said 2 years, but this event does mark the end of that 2 year segment, and leads into… different stuff you’ll hear about shortly.

So, seeing all of these non-worshippers being able to use Goklony’a (and in a very odd way too), Jukei proposes that they should together focus and send out a concentrated ‘chunk’ of Goklony’a to acquire mediums, to study and communicate with these strange humans, and perhaps spread the word of their existence. They proposes this as opposed to going down themselves, as they want to minimise full contact and further possible contamination of the bubble, and believe that sending a magick meteor is the best way to do that. Zormalfym suggests that the first 7 to come into contact be selected, if only to make the process faster. This is agreed to, and with GN’s approval to this honestly stupid plan, the meteor is dropped off.

[its psiromium time, but thats a story for another time[no really i meant to put stuff about the psychonauts organisation finding out about the meteor n sending ppl down there but i don't have any details for that so uhh just pretend i wrote all that stuff.]]

So when the juniors came into contact with the psiromium, instead of just interpreting the deities' attempts at communication as a funny little voice in their head claiming to be god, they uh, started getting powerful visions and delusions.

Jukei called dibs on the first one, which ended up being Razputin. Jukei spoke to Raz, engaging first contact, expecting Raz to be dismissive or confused over this unknown voice. Instead, Raz instantly believed what he was hearing was the psiromium itself, which intrigued Jukei. He stopped speaking soon after to see if perhaps he had simply come in too quickly and Raz needed more time to adapt to the heightened Goklony’a in his system, but it was too late. Over the days Raz spent a lot of time loitering around and staring at the psiromium. He started skipping meals and staying up late into the night to sit and talk to the psiromium, trying to get it to speak to him again. Eventually, Jukei did respond seeing that his absence did not help the child cope, and Raz finding the source of the voice vanished all together for multiple days, and when he was found again - he was by the psiromium, changed, and rambling in Whogizha (however at the time it just came across as gibberish to the group). Part of this is that he has been infused with Xokly'ang, the element that Jukei embodies, and part of this is that having more Goklony’a in his system heightens his psychic powers ever further than they are already heightened by emotional amplification [check worldbuilding entry 6]

Lili was too eager to figure out what was wrong with Raz and basically threw herself at him, and ended up being spoken to by Let. Let chose to put himself into his hosting medium in a more direct fashion.

Norma, who has been keeping tabs on Raz’ weirdness and has now seen Lili’s transformation, is certain that the psiromium is stupidly fucking dangerous and makes sure to not touch it nor Lili or Raz, and attempts to keep the two contained in the crater while telepathically calling the team for help. Zormalfym, inspired by the actions of the previous two deities, chooses to go further beyond and go down to speak to Norma directly, making a connection that way. Zormalfym does not make his presence visible to anyone but Norma (and Raz, as Raz at this point will not question his actions). Norma is, I think, pretty understandably frightened by this 10ft tall burning rabbit robot thing, grin permanently frozen on his face, and is frightened further by his disrupting of her telepathy and claims of being a god. Norma refuses to listen or believe what he says, including his instructions to burn herself if she loves him, trying to convince herself that it is nothing more than the psiromium disrupting the astral plane and her thought processes, inducing hallucinations. This angers Zormalfym as he was hoping that she’d be more pliable like Lili and Raz. Lizzie is the first to arrive to Norma’s distress and Zormalfym uses her as a leverage, threatening to harm Lizzie should Norma not follow his word.

For the record, from Lizzie’s perspective, once she came to the crater from Norma’s distress call, all she sees is Raz and Lili on one side of the crater sitting together and very visible fucked up. And Norma on the other side screaming at/about something that Lizzie can't see, before screaming and begging at the “nothing” to not touch or hurt Lizzie, and then ✨promptly lighting herself on fire✨. The other deities are not amused with this stunt of Zormalfym’s but continue because fuck it lets just finish what we’ve started.

Lizzie is super not into the whole psiromium research mission thing anymore with her sister burning herself, but as per “touch and you get infected”, in an attempt to help the severely injured Norma, Lizzie gets connected to Saizhau. She ends up freezing herself a wee bit. Saizhau did not intend for harm to come to Lizzie and actually didn't do anything at all - this was just the Goklony’a/Gold Dust nonsense at this point. [insert lizzie sobbing here]

Sam. I didn't write anything for Sam except that she got Pforeh. The only thing I had written down was “EYEBAlLs” s…. Now Sam can stare at you always and forever. Isn't that fun. (sorry sam is the one junior i actually cant pull myself together enough to give a shit abt im sorryyyy(i swear ill write something better for her later but for now - fucked up eyeball hair))

Tsizh was not interested in making contact with these humans but was pressured to test Jukei's theory by Zormalfym. Gisu, upon being brought into mental contact with Tsizh, glitched as expected and Tsizh was immediately distressed about destroying another entity, turning away from the scene to cry. But Jukei called them back over, for unlike other entities, the Gold Dust mutated Tsizh' Reix magick and Gisu remained alive. Although severely mangled, and with her corrupted parts both being very painful, but not spreading further across herself. Additionally, Gisu’s glitches lacked the viral properties that Tsizh’ has.

Adam is the last, he gets Gehwhaible, and is instructed to finish the job and infect Morris. Adam ends up hunting and hurting Morris, getting his yo-yo string wrapped around his arm, slicing it open. But Tsizh is pretty sick of this at this point, and deletes the psiromium, keeping Adam from infecting Morris. 

After all of this the deities realise/remember that GN was granted access to Goklony’a, and thus having entered the bubble in such a condition was likely what caused this anomaly to occur. So yeah basically it's Tsanai’a’s fault that these 7 kids are messed up both physically and in the head. Kewl. thanks creator god who likes to fuck around and find out with his creations and subjects, very nice. They choose not to take down the bubble, as Gold Dust seems to be staying contained and not affecting the rest of Aileirtsa, and it keeps these newly messed up child worshippers from escaping.

Post infection enlightening ✨ and design yapping

Raz is quite joyous to have been chosen by Jukei and is more than willing to follow his word, no matter what it entails. Jukei likes messing with him merely to see his reaction, and to see if his faith can be faltered (it cannot). Nothing like being a deity’s chewtoy.

Lili doesn’t question Let’s instructions, if only because they don’t come often. Lili, infused with Zoweh, was left with vines growing from her back from her spine, and although their growth didn't cause her pain, any damage they received from being cut or torn would be felt as they are a direct extension of her body.

Norma and Zormalfym. Not on great terms, Norma only really follows and listens out of fear of him hurting Lizzie. Fine with the others worshipping their own deities though they seem more chill. Kinda. Sorta. Sometimes. shes got (very simplified) burn scars. she did in her bout of panic touch her own face while she had a handful of fire. glasses are MIA because i want to let you see the scarring pattern. her legs roughly match in scarring pattern to her arms. she's retained damage to both her right eye and her hands, and is blind in that eye, and cannot open her hands fully.

Lizzie doesn't really know how to feel about saizhau, but def doesn't like the others worshipping, especially Raz’s obsessiveness to them, and their relationship worsens as Lizzie feels that his obsession is making norma more complacent. Like i said earlier, she froze and is covered in cracks, but wont lose her limbs to the frostbite, she just lacks sensation in her limbs. her legs match roughly in frostburn 'scarring' to her arms.

Seeing that Gisu retained her ability to intereact with objects and entities without glitching them, Tsizh becomes thoroughly captivated with Gisu, and is the second of the deities to physically come down to see their new medium(after Jukei), although keeping a heavy distance should they break Gisu further. Gisu finds Tsizh obsessive (they are) and lacks interest in communicating with them. 
Tsizh' obsession get worse after Gisu's damage eventually "heals" (really just stops hurting), and she develops gloves and covers for her damage, allowing herself to interact with the world again in a mostly-normal fashion (although she won't get her left eye's vision back), making Tsizh obsessed with finding or making something similar but more powerful for themself.

Adam is covered in Whogizha writing that 'scrolls' across his body like the intro to the Matrix. its actually gibbrish but its about the aesthetic.
Adam and Sam are the two I violently struggle to write, but I already said that I'm posting this as a WIP and that I can fix that later. They stay unfinished. Oops. sorry.
