This, is Veil. She and her sibling Hydrax, more on her later, are Vessels made by the Pale King and White Lady then tossed into The Abyss to be imbued with Void, after the Pure Vessel was chosen, The Abyss was sealed up, but this didn't stop some Vessels from escaping out into the world. However, as Veil was climbing out, she entered a very strange part of The Abyss, inside it was filled with a blue glow and Lifeblood flowers, and at the center was a large, ominous creature with multiple blue eyes. It stared at Veil curiously, though she knew that she was made to contain something, but without knowing what she was meant to contain, she assumed it was this Abyss Creature, so she focused upon it, drawing it into her body and sealing it within her. With it inside of her she felt different, she felt stronger, more energetic, healthier. She swiftly made her way out of The Abyss with her sibling.

Once free of The Abyss they explored the kingdom of Hallownest, she trained with the finest Nail warriors to hone her Nail Art, and on her journey she grew closer with the creature sealed away within her, working together on their travels. At some point their sibling got severely hurt, cracking their shell permanently, and they also learned their true goal given to them by the Pale King: to seal away The Radiance and prevent The Infection from getting out and spreading across the ruins of this forgotten kingdom, but the question is....do they really want to go through with this choice?
