Nancy is Skarb's mother as well as a new age massage parlor owner, carnivore rights activist, and a "producer and distributor of perplexing goods".

Nancy went to college for one semester before dropping out after which she went to Burning Tod where she ended up pregnant with Skarb. Nancy attempted a short-lived relationship with Skarb's father which inevitably failed due to personal differences. After giving birth Nancy would join a commune of hippie carnivores in the woods, who ideologically embraced the idea of living like "wild" animals, where Skarb would spend the first few years of his life.

Nancy was considered the go-to for the group's "vibe enhancers", and would partake in pro-carnivore activism during her time with them as well. The commune would eventually gradually disband, but Nancy didn't return to society and rather went to live off-the-grid in the woods where she dug herself a burrow which she fitted into a cottage of sorts. She would then split custody of Skarb for the remainder of his childhood and her parenting style was considered very unconventional.

Now 48, Nancy still lives in the woods a few miles from Skarb and Darla's cabin and runs a massage parlor (as well as her "side business") out of her den. She is still in decent shape and attributes her good looks to her routine which she refuses to give away to anyone. She still embraces the "wild" ideal and has contacts with members of her former group. She prefers to keep her distance from organized society, though she has gotten a few visits from law enforcement for suspected "activities" which always end with them walking away empty-handed.
