The third decades rolling in. Thats wild innit.
Its already here somewhere, somewhere else theres still a whole day to go b4 its 2026s but imma rather post it now!!!
This year, honestly, was NOT easy for anyone. Smth left, smth better came in, things changed - some for the worse, some for the better. Just pure, unhinged chaos overall yk.
Dont feed yourself hopes that 26s will be the best_year_ever.txt, but also dont doom it js in advance expecting th very worst. Just… for the duration of the celebration at least, forget about what might happen and focus on the fact that it is a celebration after all, youknow?
Dont compare who's got what - someones got a huge ass family meeting celebration, someones got a cooler bigger prettier festiv..er tree, someones decorations slap harder, someones got the better vibe. Fuck it. Create your own, unique vibe <3
Dont completely isolate yourself either - if someone calls, suffer through the awkward aiz congratulations. Really do. Hang up even a tiny little string of fairylights, eat something nice n warm. Sit thru it in a discord call, or with your pet in your arms - it still counts.
Despite insane overpopulation, we somehow all feel lonelier year by year, month by month and feeling that way during a holiday thats socially branded as "family time bring every distant relative to the table!!!!" is normal. But that doesnt mean it's true, or that youre actually alone.
I really hope youll look out the window at the random fireworks and loud boomy stuff and that the stinky smoke and confetti add at least a pinch of New Year atmosphere. Because the infamous atmosphere doesnt just show up by itself - you gotta try to help it manifest even js a little.
Everything will be okay. All bad things tend to end and sadly, so do good ones. But that means youll get tougher, and the next good thing will feel even better!!
And the symbol of 2026 is the Fire Horse - a damn TENONTO! I mean… well… come on. A dino horse. A horse dino. K sorry ill leave now
