2025 was such a difficult year :,]


I had a violent stalker in the winter, who lived directly beneath me that made me constantly fear for my safety. In the spring, a good friend of mine cut contact with me promptly after starting to date my best friend, which hurt me deeply. In the summer, I moved houses by myself in the couple days between two long trips, one of which was out of the country. I had a breakdown in autumn upon my return, finding my drive to create art wasn't there anymore, hating everything I made, and fearing I'd never reach my true potential. I felt like a failure of an artist and the looming threat of generative AI exasperated it. All of this amidst the absolute dumpster fire that is the USA. Needless to say, it's been difficult.


Things have gotten much better this winter. I'm currently in Ecuador with my best friend, spending new years with her family. This country is completely gorgeous :] I'm enjoying living on my own with my little devil cat, Jersey <3 Lindsey, who I am still deeply in love with, has been so wonderful, understanding, and supportive through all of this, even through her own trials. Things are looking up!


I hope to make much more beautiful art this coming year. I also am striving to have a merch shop open soon! Hopefully by the spring. I am grateful that my income has remained stable and has been more than enough to provide for myself. Here's to 2026!
