Necron Bestiary: The Valtek

I started this pic a month or two ago, because I love the necrons, but I think they lack variety and, as a newly minted Necron loyalist, I wanted to design my own goofy goobers. Kinda recently, I realized that GW doesn't even respect the setting. That just made me more motivated to run wild with what I enjoy about the Bony Tinboyz and have fun with Necron Tak and his faction. I want to reimagine them as a real undead-egyptian faction, not just unkillable terminators with spooky green lasers.
Not every necron was meant for war. Legions of mindless soldiers may be good for trampling the enemy on the battlefield, but the hearth and home are still valued within the society of undead machines. Lords and nobilities would value having butlers and maids to care for their home in their stead. This role falls upon the elusive Valteks. These guys are essentially cryptkeeper-butlers. With their unique face structure that gives them a perpetually bemused and friendly look, They glide silently, making use of an array of disembodied hands and octopus-like arms that emerge from under their cloak to carry on their daunting task of cleaning and maintaining whatever place they're assigned to. These guys are not Canopteks. Some had become mindless, but many managed to retain their sapience. As they're not meant for combat, enemies of the Dynasty rarely know of their existence.
Their design's inspired by a mix of No-Face, WD Gaster and the Death 13 Stand. I never liked the purely humanlike look of the necrons, but for these goofy goobers, I made an exception. Since this is a realty where the necrons were not only comprised of necrontyr, expect to see more beastfolk-looking forms in the near future~
