Y'all remember Animal Crossing: New Horizon?
I don't have a switch and I felt so left out while everyone was talking about it and playing during the COVID 19 pandemic, so I made this little thing to feel like I was participating.
It was a very miserable year in terms of loneliness and panic of people I love at risk (my brother is a doctor), but, as controversial as it may sound, it was... Well... I kinda miss it. Not the virus, no, please, don't get me wrong. But the sensation that busy life paused. That we had a moment to catch up, to breathe and think..? How many of you learned new skills during the pandemics? To draw, to code, to bake your own bread? How many of you made new friends online and discovered new content creators? It was... a year of discovery. Of contemplation. Fear, disease, economic crisis, no doubt. It was horrible, I had to request government financial aid, food prices skyrocketed, I lost someone I was planning to talk about having a relationship...
I guess I'm just trying to find a silver line in that nightmare...
