The western deep forest burrow
Soo a pic for Mizutsune Chaikaiku's official character backstory!
Due to poachers Chaikaiku lost his parents pretty early in his life. Being to young and small to survive in the wild he didn't had a chance to make it.
But a larger pack of Melynx captured him, deciding to raise him instead of killing him for valuable parts.
The packs leader back then planed to use the Mizutsune to increase the packs power.
And well that payed off, while he grew and got older, the Melynx managed to expand more and have a effective defense against monsters and even some hunters.
When the old leader passed, Chaikaiku became the leader of the large pack. Eventually they abandoned the old burrow and created a far bigger one which you see in the picture, although most of the 24 Melynx are currently out causing mischief and thievery while Chaikaiku looks at the map and planing for the next thing!
While also providing for more soapy liquid, which the Melynx bottle up and use to lay slippery traps or as throwable weapons to give someone a hard time, also using his flammable soapy fluid for more fiery things!
