It's about time this lady got a brand new reference and that not only on my harpg gallery!
She is no doubt one of my dearest characters. <3

Name: Belial - The Mad Hatter - "Hattie"
Gender: mare
Age: ??
Height: 160cm - 15.3hh
Breed: Nightmare
Abilities:
- Communicating with humans through telepathy.
- Shapeshifting, altering size and disguising. (latter mostly as 'normal' horse or human)
- Entering and feeding on dreams. (Main Diet!)
- Teleportation through reflecting objects. (mirrors, ie.)
- Levitation
- Turning objects into precious materials. (wood to gold, ie.)
PERSONALITY
sassy, humorous, hot-headed, suave, british
HISTORY
There is not much known about Hattie's origins, or better, she does not like to gossip much about it. It is a fact, that she was born around the time of the roman empire and adopted by a generous mari lwyd, due to her mother abandoning her after birth and leaving her to the wolves at it is custom for nightmares to do. Only those, who survive on their own are considered strong enough and Hattie did survive, even more so, thanks to her adoptive parent she grew up knowing love and what being cherished meant.
Like all nightmares she knew from birth how to use her various abilities and disguised herself as a normal foal among the humans alongside her mari lwyd guardian, ending up raised by them just like any other orphan foal. Her early connection with humans and the teachings of her adoptive father made her grow a liking for humans unusual for nightmares. She would still use them as she pleased and consume their dreams, for they are a nightmare's main diet after all, yet she would also show kindness towards them and even see some of them as sort of friends worth helping as long as their path would go the same direction.
Hattie is an ancient creature, she has seen a lot in her day and traveled time like not many others do. She has many a story to tell and if you are lucky and are invited by her to one of her teaparties, she might even share one or two with you..
