My Year started off pretty bleak looking with rainstorms and the weather threatening to cause more damage to the house. It even rained through the Rose Parade, but folks said, "The flowers won't mind." Is there some sort of tradition of wearing polka dots at the start of the New Year in Germany? I know in the Philippines, wearing polka dot garments brings good luck.
