Myles found something unusual on his radar while he was star gazing. It warned him of an anomaly approaching towards his home. With his parents asleep, he gets a hold of his gear and heads out to investigate.
Slowly, he treads through the fields, searching for this anomaly. His radar began to flicker, signaling he’s close. The anomaly was getting into his line of sight. It was…green? Could it be a sign of alien life? Not like any alien life he’s familiar with.
Closer, he makes out what that figure was. It appears to be…a woman? She was sporting some flowers on top of her head. Judging from the green, she may be a plant creature?
While figuring it out, the plant creature looked at him, finally noticing him. Myles froze in place, fearing what this creature might plan to do to him. But instead of any sort of attack, the woman looked at him in confusion too. She was reading his face, almost like she was trying to analyze him.
“T…Tails?” She spoke quietly.
Myles was left shocked. How did this woman know his nickname? He never encountered any alien like this before.
“Is it you?” The woman appeared to be emitting tears, almost like she’s relieved or something. Myles didn’t know what was going on or what to do.
…and yet…somehow…a part of him suddenly felt some sort of strange connection with her. A feeling of sorrow and regret waved up upon seeing her. He can’t decipher what this means, but…if his gut is giving him deja vu, and that this woman was able to recognize him, something tells him that this may lead into another glimmer of his past.
