GWR 57xx Pannier Tank Engine Number.8700 (Swindon Version)
Here's a GWR 57xx Number 8700. Built by Swindon Works in March 1934, and withdrawn in Febuary 1962. However this is the second 8700 buit, the first 8700 was built by Beyer Peacock Co. in Febuary 1931, it was later rebuilt into the prototype of the GWR 97xx in January 1934. When building the new 8700 they took the orignal cab of the first 8700 and put it on the seconded one. This is my favorite GWR 57xx because it was built by Swindon, and also I think it's the only GWR 57xx to have the old styled cab design yet has most of the upgraded features of later GWR 57xx's minus the new styled cab design.
