• Biography: Chikaze is one of the many ½ Mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born a day after Cotovatre was born, making her part of the 2nd line of ½ Mermaids born to the family. Like many of her siblings, Chikaze always hung around when her father had stories to tell, and he had no shortage of them either. Chikaze was one of the ones who made her decision to be a hero like her father is, though instead of choosing one path, she opted to become a Beastmaster for the Fire Emblem universe, and she even decided to mix in Pokémon Training as well. Starting with the latter, Chikaze first studied up on Pokémon before actually setting out to pick her first partner. Her search, however, wound up resulting in three potential choices: Charmander, Totodile, and Chespin. However, Chikaze was unable to pick which one she wanted most, so she invited all 3 of them to come with her, and they happily accepted. Though Chikaze also nabbed an Absol & Two Eevee, both of whom were female, and she raised them both into an Espeon & Sylveon, respectively. Chikaze soon turned to training as a Beast Master, picking up an axe, guns, and a bow to fight with. During her training, Chikaze discovered a wolf outside her house and noticed that it could barely stand, having been chased out of a pack it used to be a part of. Chikaze took the animal in and stayed by its side until it was healed. Chikaze expected the wolf to become wild towards her, but the wolf instead showed gratitude for saving its life and cemented itself as a companion for Chikaze. Chikaze eventually had great success in taming at least 2 more wolves, and even a leopard. Even so, her training ended with flying colors, and she became eligible to join her other Fire Emblem themed sisters (Except Eurydice at first who was unable to go initially since her Pegasus was sick) on the land of Gaia where she quickly enlisted into the Gaia Army and became one of its top soldiers in no time whatsoever. However, on one training day, Gaia came under attack from an invasion sparked by the Supreme Forces, the invasion being led by the Supreme Archduke & Archduchess, and the Supreme Princesses and Supreme Prince. Chikaze at one point personally battled Maleficent but was overpowered by the evil princess. Before Maleficent could deliver a killing blow, Chikaze’s first wolf, whom she had named Akela, rushed over and saved Chikaze, giving her time to recover, but at the cost of Maleficent killing the loyal wolf; much to Chikaze’s distress & horror. Akela was among the casualties of the decimated Gaia Army, along with the other soldiers barring Chikaze’s family. With no other options, she was forced to retreat the castle, but not before she collected a bracelet she made for Akela before the body was lost to the fires that filled the castle courtyard. When the Gaia Alliance was proposed to replace the now destroyed Gaia Army, Chikaze was quick to throw her hat into the ring and join the alliance, vowing to help take Gaia back from the Supreme Forces, and avenge her friend Akela. Since then, Chikaze has been helping in the war effort to end the War of Light & Shadow, and even after that, has been striving to be a Pokémon Champion, and protect the peace of her home world when needed. As is to be expected from those in Juni’s family, Chikaze is a very friendly girl, inheriting only the best traits from her parents. She’s a genuine big sister to those around her, especially young children. In fact, she was among the first to actually support letting her 11-year-old sister Jule stay at the Alliance Base, knowing full well she’ll be safer there. However, she’s also one of the few that, while willing to forgive & forget, does not allow herself to do so all that easily. Case in point is when she is unwilling to let Maleficent walk away easily after the Supreme Princess killed her first faithful companion wolf Akela. Unsurprisingly, Chikaze absolutely loves animals. From wolves & lions to snakes & crocs, it doesn’t matter to Chikaze. To her, any animal is worth loving. As such, she detests those who abuse animals. Like a handful of her sisters, Valentina is a proven absolute mudlark, and she will not hesitate to throw herself into a quicksand pit the moment she spots one. She also gets excited when signs of quicksand are discovered in the area she is exploring. The best tamer of big cats & wolves.
• Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Chikaze is capable of transforming into her mermaid form the moment she enters the water. As a mermaid, like all her other 1/2 mermaid siblings, she has excellent swimming speed, can breathe underwater without the need to surface for air; though she & her other sisters form gills to help with this, too, and she can commune with aquatic creatures of any kind. However, she primarily transforms while in either fresh or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Chikaze strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. In the water, Chikaze enjoys the same +10 increase to her avoid/dodge, and the doubling of movement that her other 1/2 mermaid siblings enjoy while beneath the waves. Chikaze starts the party off as a Beastmaster, a Special Class. As a Beastmaster, Chikaze has impressive stats in terms of Strength, Defense, and Luck. Her growth rates in these areas are reflected upon this as well. She has decent Magic, Resistance, and Speed, but her luck is also very good. She sees a good deal of growth in these areas. Her class can reach a level-cap of 60. In battle, Chikaze fights with axes, guns, and bows, giving her a unique set up in terms of combat options and she starts with a C-Rank in all 3 areas. Chikaze also battles with the beasts she catches & tames as well, hence her occupation of Beastmaster. Chikaze can capture a wide variety of beasts to fight alongside her, and each beast has a different type of attack. For instance, wolves attack with their fangs, and big cats rake enemies with sharp claws. As it stands, Chikaze is capable of taming wolves, cats, reptiles, and even wyverns. Wyverns can be used as mounts when necessary. In addition, Chikaze is a talented Pokémon Trainer. She tends to use a balanced team of different Pokémon-Types, though she seems to favor Pokémon that’re more beastly than human-like. A good example is Absol. She unsurprisingly has a deep bond with her Pokémon, enabling the use of great powers, such as Mega Evolution. She begins with the following Pokémon, beasts, weapons, and skills.
o Charmander: This Fire-Type Pokémon was invited by Chikaze to come along with her when she found it wandering alone by a lake that was dried up. Charmander has a Hardy Nature, he likes to eat, his moves are Scratch, Growl, Ember, and Metal Claw, and his ability is Blaze. His Tera-Type is Dragon.
o Totodile: The Big Jaw Pokémon was found at the same time as Charmander. Totodile went along with Chikaze without question when invited to join her. Totodile has a Brave Nature and hates to lose. His moves are Scratch, Leer, Bite, and Water Gun, and his ability is Torrent. His Tera-Type is also Dragon. He even holds a Feraligite, but he can’t use it right now.
o Chespin: The Spiny Nut Pokémon was found in a muddy trap that Chikaze stumbled upon and freed the Pokémon from, causing Chespin to tag along with Chikaze. He has a Quirky Nature and takes plenty of Siestas. His moves include Vine Whip, Growl, Growth, Rollout, and his ability is Bulletproof. His Tera-Type is Rock, and he holds a Chesnaughtite, though he can’t use it.
o Espeon: Caught as an Eevee, Espeon proves to be a rather strong Pokémon in her own right, giving Chikaze some early muscle so to speak. Her nature is a Modest one, and she likes to scatter things. Her moves include Confusion, Tail Whip, Dazzling Gleam, and Swift, and her ability is Magic Bounce, Her Tera-Type is Fairy.
o Sylveon: Sylveon was also caught as an Eevee. She too serves as an early powerhouse for Chikaze, though she handles it defensively. She has a Bashful Nature and has good endurance. Her moves are Disarming Voice, Swift, Tail Whip, Charm, and her ability is Pixilate. Her Tera-Type is Psychic.
o Absol: Absol was caught during a misunderstanding surrounding its appearance in a village, suggesting it was about to rain down disaster upon said village, though this was proven wrong when it tried to stop it from happening. Absol has a Serious Nature and likes to run. Her moves include Snarl, Phantom Force, Shadow Sneak, Leer, and her ability is Super Luck. Her Tera-Type is Ghost, and she wields an Absolite, enabling her to Mega Evolve into Mega Absol.
o Rama: A wolf belonging to Chikaze. He is fast on his feet and delivers fast strong bites to enemies.
o Raksha: Rama’s mate. She is more of a tanking wolf, but she still delivers a vicious bite to enemies.
o Arrow: A leopard Chikaze rescued from a poaching operation. True to her name, Arrow is fast on her feet and ambushes unaware enemies before delivering a deep lacerating slash with her sharp claws.
o Mega Glove: A glove outfitted with a keystone on the back. Chikaze uses this to initiate Mega Evolution with the appropriate Pokémon.
o Huntress Axe: The personal weapon of Chikaze. This axe acts as a potent beast killer, allowing Chikaze to inflict bonus damage to cavalry & beast units. It even ignores the terrain bonuses of forests & thickets if enemies are hiding there. Being a personal weapon, it cannot break.
o Killer Axe: An axe especially well-suited to inflicting deadly wounds. Critical hits deal out 4x damage instead of 3x. Has 35 uses.
o Sharps Rifle: A rifle that boasts good might, and it allows bullets fired from it to deal bonus damage to cavalry, and beast units. It only shoots one bullet at a time, but as long as Chikaze’s ammo pouch is full enough, it can get more shots in and potentially double attack if she's fast enough.
o Winchester 1912: A pump-action shotgun packing good might. This one, however, happens to be a 12-gauge model instead of 20 like Zavanna’s. It can fire off 6 shots before it needs to reload. Like all shotguns, it can fire bird & buckshot for AOE damage, or slugs for hitting a single target hard.
o Killer Bow: A bow especially well-suited to inflicting deadly wounds. Effective against flyers. Critical hits deal out 4x damage instead of 3x. Quiver holds 35 arrows.
o Beast Breaker: The personal skill of Chikaze. When attacking enemies that’re beastly, such as specific Laguz, Wolfskins, Kitsune, Etc., Chikaze has a chance to break these units and force them into their human forms for one attack. Any of Chikaze’s own beasts attacking the unit will always inflict break on these enemies.
o Beast Strike: After Chikaze performs an attack, any beast she has active will attack immediately after. During Pair Ups, the partner unit will attack after Chikaze’s beast does.
o Capture Beast: This skill uses no SP to activate. Chikaze, whenever she defeats a certain type of beast or monster, will capture it and add it to her roster of usable beasts. She can have up to 12 beasts at a time, forcing her to release one if she has her roster full. She cannot release Rama, Raksha, and Arrow.
o Leghold Trap: Combat Art that uses 5SP. When activated, this binds a single enemy in place for 5 phases, reducing their movement to 0. It can be used on a tile to be set up as a legit trap waiting to be activated.
o Ensnare: Combat Art that uses 5SP to activate. This is similar to leghold trap, but the effect is immediate and works well on fliers.
o Smash: Axe Combat Art that uses 5SP. An axe attack with high Crit.
o Helm Splitter: Axe Combat Art that uses 5SP. An attack that is effective against armored units.
o Monster Breaker: Axe Combat Art that uses 5SP. An attack that is effective against monsters.
o Curved Shot: Bow Combat Art that uses 3SP. A bow attack with high Hit.
o Monster Blast: Bow & Gun Combat Art that uses 5SP. An attack that is effective against monsters.
