Here is a tool I made to act as a sort of stove top for when I use my special alcohol lamps and oil lamps.
It's merely a sheet metal hinge frame with wire from an old spring bed. The purpose of this is to have something I can use to heat and melt wax, resin, as well as re melt solder scraps that I save.
In order to get a good temperature to melt the solder I will need a larger alcohol lamp than the one I made in the past. I will follow this up with the lamp in question-
