Here is what I do with my solder scraps. Any little blob, drip, and excess is saved for later and separated from dirt and debris.

These little bits and pieces were part of a pile of refuse that has accumulated in a wide metal pan I do soldering over and it got a bit dirty.

To get rid of all the non solder pieces I used a mouth pipe that I would use for the alcohol torch seen here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52183262/

There are a few other lengths of solder that I had made from other scraps as well. I don't like to waste it.
