yeah i can't really get into the pomp-factor of most opera, this one is grandiose but not obnoxious
plus it's purcell, dude knew what he was up to

A couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to sing this piece and several others from Purcell with my choir with the counter tenor Matthias Rexroth. Unforgettable.
