Zalika and Jamaani have reached the continental divide. Going forward, they leave behind everything they have ever known. Together, they make camp next to a small lake on the north side of the divide. Zalika has been progressively more aware of Jamaani as a man, the longer they have been together, and this night, she and Jamaani take the next step. There are some consequences. Spoiler alert: Zebra and Leopard are NOT a fertile combination, and I do not write sex scenes.
