The pretty lights in the sky

Was gonna do one with pen since I spent new years with him (still here with him hi lmao) but I haven’t gotten to do any solo personal art in a while

New year woo. I always found it curious how most people treat the new year as if it’s not just another day, same as last year. Nothing really “changes” but people give it that meaning, and I suppose I try to do the same thing with wanting owed art done so I have a “clean slate” (which I didn’t get to do this time lol). Just interesting, looking at the people who do the “new year new me” thing, they wait for the new year to start getting stuff done or to work on themself as a person
