Now THIS one's a keeper! Even though she was fairly early in the project (and admittedly lacking some much needed polish), she is #6 on my favorite fusions list! It's only because of the final character that just barely pushed Chiaki out of the top 5.
As for the reasoning behind the choice, it was simple: phonetically they both start with "Ch-". Yep, sometimes it really is that simple. But hey, I think the fusion worked pretty well between them!
