Lol given my…particular interests, I thought the nanite based damage was instead some form of spreading demon corruption. For some reason I thought the virus progressed way faster than that, but maybe since it’s techno-organic they turned up the symptoms manually “plague inc.” style once it reached a certain saturation point 🤔
