Here's my caption :
Body language and canine vocalization are used just as frequently as spoken word, even in human form, between werewolves. The position of ears, the tail, and the body can say more than words, a lot more subtly. Mock-fighting between werewolves is used to communicate heirarchy, practice stalking, and to prepare for the hunt. Some fights may occur in packs to establish or re-establish hierarchy, but what is often seen and interpreted as a fight is usually restricted to wrestling and jaw-sparring. When a legitimate fight does occur, there is no mistaking the display of unmatched power. Any other werewolves will exclude themselves and circle around the fight.

I'm glad you said this. I was so captivated by the figures themselves, the expressions and texture and circle of watching eyes, that I overlooked some of the real mastery of this piece. But you're right. The snow is perfectly real ... and the single drop of blood from the claws a startling and subtle touch. Gorgeous.
Snow sparkle, so magical! =D Freaking FANTASTIC silhouettes and shapes, everything came together so nicely. You kept it simple and to the point, adding details where the viewer is really going to want to see them. This tells the story perfectly. I can't pick my favorite thing out of this. Either the rim lighting on the black wolf's head and face, the sparkly snow, the sets of glowing eyes in the trees, or the paw prints in the snow that came out JUST RIGHT!
Don't know what to say other than I'm absolutly amazed by the detail. From the trees in the back ground slowly fading in to shadow from top to bottom. The detail of the snow giving it a crisp chill. The postureing and use of body language and the detailing of the combatants. Your use of light and shadow is amazing. One word to describe it I don't think such a word has been made yet. My hats off to you Hun this puts you on par to

Uhm.. I think it's generally quite rude to compare one artist to another or to say one is better or worse. How insulted would you be if you worked at something and produced beautiful artwork to have some other person come up an say "Great work, it's just barely on par with this other person."
I love the look of the snow. It's so realistic and voluminous that the paw prints look like they're actually there. The only thing that bugs me is that the snow is mostly undisturbed other than the paw prints. They've already began fighting, but there isn't evidence of loosened snow or trails of blood [unless I am over-thinking as usual] 0: I also loved the touch of the audience in the forest line. I wouldn't have thought of that.
I still can't understand how artists can possibly recreate an image this vivid, when I can't draw a circle to save my life
Again, very nice work! I like how there's always a little detail, a little touch you add. The scratch marks, the blood on the snow, the eyes in the background, it adds so much more depth!
However, I wonder, why did you do the arms the way you did? I dunno, they seem to 'stick out' to me. I never noticed this in any of your other works, did you do something different with this one?

PUPPIES! ~<3!!!
But in all seriousness this is a definite running haymaker to the face for me - I'm a longtime werewolf lover so the subject matter naturally appeals but more than that, the sheer quality of the art itself, from the texture of the fur to the expression to the thought you've clearly put into this, its all so very breathtaking. I particularly like the way the white werewolf's paw touches the snow to brace it, but the little details, they make this piece.
Exquisite. I'm fav'ing this and making it my goddamn wallpaper you magnificent bastard.
