a general reference for Niko! I ended up reworking the anatomy to sit somewhere between standard anthro and sonic-style proportions. in my opinion - and in August’s as well - it looks better and more mature this way. the irony is that these are literally the same proportions I’ve been using in the actual drawings! the differences are minimal, so you could say I was instinctively aiming to catch that balance for my style from the very beginning.
next up are Vint and the canon part of Team Dark, so I’ll have references for all the key characters at hand. Omega will probably be saved for last (q-q) robots are hard for drawing…
