Zeroth is an ancient entity/concept that cannot be seen; he is the embodiment of social collapse and is born, modified visually, and altered depending on the time period. These design details are symbologies of specific faults in humankind. His fur is often depicted as black and almost cosmic, sometimes looking smudged or melted in thin air. His most notable feature, present no matter the period, is his half-and-half silhouette. Often, the right side is obstructed, glitchy, a complete skeleton, or a black smudge, while the other side has more specific qualities and accessories tailored to events or social issues relevant to the period it represents. His current design is based on technology. Artificial Intelligence, political polarization/divide, censorship, and overconsumption. He is a shapeshifter in a way, as his species shifts depending on the era. Ex: jackal/anubis-like creature during the ancient Egyptian civilization/collapse, and a glitchy protogen during today’s era. If he were to be seen, his appearance would always be altering to some extent and warping the world around the viewer. His voice today would be glitchy and almost incomprehensible, shifting and building sentences from digital media, headlines, new reporters' voices, and more. His walking would sometimes seem “laggy” and very slow. He is distant and all-knowing, being literally made of humanity's critical catalysts for its demise. He has endless forms stretching from the beginning of time to modern-day society, not just the two presented. The only individuals aware of his presence are Astraeus and Kyro.
