For those who don't know, Turtle is the shy one of Arc 2's main cast in the wings of fire series, as well as one of many princes in the seawing tribe (that the queen cares little for unfortunately) and an animus dragon (basically a dragon whose wishes come true. Yes, this a completely broken magic system).

Having finished that piece, I can say I'm proud of it for improving over my last seawing piece. These dragons are quite fit to be turned into pooltoy, and here it shows even more. I was also about to write a short tf story to go with the piece, but decided I would instead publish the art piece sooner (hence the lack of tf tags) and finish the story later (which would contain that work, possibly more) if I end up finishing it.
(Not sure if this is apparent, but I have renounced quite a lot to write stories about that kind of stuff despite seeing the appeal, mainly due to being too judging of myself and lacking motivation. I'm hoping I can solve that riddle of writing something that is both a specific fantasy and stuffed enough it remains interesting for those who want more than just said fantasy)
Credit once more to Frosted Monster for inspiration, whose art is great, especially when it comes to seawings. The style and design are for me those that fit the most said dragon tribe out of everything I have seen.

I'm quite shy from drawing paws now because making these fully fit with the rest of the pooltoy is actually hard, so hard I don't think I did it entirely right even once. But I guess I can try next time, especially since I know of two pieces doing claws masterfully on pooltoy dergs (Squeaky cuddle by RyuCas and Chamelion Squeak by SymreaArt)
And now that I've just looked at it, I think what makes the back talons still weird for me is that they are departing from each other, almost forming a wide angle. Not impossible, but it makes it odd, perhaps also due to not being able to see the full talon behind (which may hide a flaw or not.).

Not sure of what to say, I just got to quickly see each of the 116 pictures (thanks my internet connection) and I do recognize some of these toys, especially the dergs. (didn't found the onyx titan though, but that one seems to be quite new and even 116 images set isn't enough to cover everything)
It's quite apparent a real pooltoy's paw (like its other parts) differs from fictional creations which can choose near impossibly fitting and rounded shapes (I hope what I'm saying makes sense. If not, look for the real Cerisey toy and then how artists drew her/it)
So I don't think I'll take full inspiration from these unless I really try to draw an inflatable that could exist/be made. I don't know, perhaps I'll try that in the future, for a character I already drew as a pooltoy (like Turtle or another seawing), if I'm motivated enough.
