Lightshow bobbed her head right, and a swinging wrench missed her head. The coyote from before tried to take her by surprise too, despite his pants having a burnt hole in the back of them. Lightshow spun away from the two of them, and held out both gauntlets aimed at them.
“You really think that’d work the second time?” She smiled as she glared at them, “ Just try to land a hit.”
They looked at one another, then they simultaneously rushed her.
Lightshow fired a few rockets at each, but it only got the coyote to flinch. The wolf still ran up and swung his hammer at her. She ducked back, then ran around him as he tried to swing again. She kicked the wolf to get some more distance, and then drew a lit roman candle on him. She held it like a wand, aimed as the wolf was just about to see the shot.
Then the coyote ran in and swung his pipe wrench; Lightshow dodged the swing, and her shot missed entirely. The first firebolt struck the ceiling light and caused sparks.
The roman candle was still going; Lightshow knew how many and aimed for the coyote while she had time.
The coyote dodged it then ran at her again to swing again.
Lightshow ducked, and poised to shoot up at him. Then she dove to the right and missed her shot in the process. The fire hit a wall while she was avoiding a hammer. She rolled to where she could stand back up again. She pointed the roman candle between the two of them, two shots left before the firework was out. The sparking ceiling light burst into flame, and the fire ran along the line and to outlets in the walls. Fires burst out, and Lightshow jumped again, her shot missed again.
“What’s the matter?” the coyote smirked, “Can’t make a hit?” He ran at her again, swinging his pipe wrench.
As expected, Lightshow dodged each swing, but her moves were more limited. Between the oncoming attacks and the fire in the building, she never even drew a firecracker.
The wolf was clearly watching, “Keep swinging!” He shouted, “She can’t fight and fly!” Then he ran with his hammer raised.
Both missed, again and again, Lightshow was able to dodge them, but that was all she could do. Anytime she would go to throw a punch, there was a hammer that would make her flinch back. Any time she tried to aim her gauntlets, she pulled them away from a pipe wrench. Anywhere she wanted to run was either blocked by the wolf, coyote, or the spreading fire. It was only a few seconds more before her back was to a corner.
