The Sikorsky S-70i Firehawk is typically made from a demilitarized and refurbished UH-60 Blackhawk, which for Gina has been one of life's great ironies since that's exactly what she flew during her time in the service. The most noticeable change is the extended landing gear which creates room under the fuselage for water storage and a retractable snorkel as well as the addition of a winch and camera equipment. The Firehawk is a true multi-role wildland firefighting machine, capable of shuttling up to 13 helitack crew, performing medivacs, or waterbombing, sometimes all in the same sortie.
