sorry for the long response but honestly i have all the time in the world as i have a cold & no work right now.
i really hate that you took the route to either 1. misunderstand the reason why i made my comment or 2. purposefully accusing me of passive aggressively policing people's interests out of bad faith.. i would like to believe you are not being malicious, so lets hope you arent. i have met too many people who accuse people of "policing people's interests" only for it to be about actual murder, assault, rape, etc...
1. insinuating that me stating a anecdote on my personal experience, is "passive-aggressively policing peoples interests" is incredibly bad faith of you anir... jumping to assumption that im bad faith in my action & reasonings is kinda shitty. i have literally met people in the furry fandom and in music spaces across seattle, oregon & canada who have literally stated "essex should be allowed to rape more people" in response to being told the sexual assault claims. Annnd just because you havent met those people who advocate for her assaulting others, doesnt mean they arent real.
2. people do not warn people of sexual abuse cases to "police their interests". they do it to warn people of sexual assault.
3. i am a victim of sexual assault. all victims of sexual assault are allowed to not trust a rapist after they raped someone or sexually assaulted someone, even if they claim again and again they are safe.
4. i am also a victim of stalking and harassment. i do not trust people who say theyre "changed for the better" and "wont sexually assault people anymore" because my stalker of 7 years said that to me, over and over again to try convince me to be her friend and unblock her while threatening to rape me over and kidnap me over and over. I have a court case against this person for attacking me and trying to sexually and physically assault me, kidnap me & drug me. despise this stalker claiming she would "never kill and rape me", she still tried to.
and there are many cases like mine where a victim would not feel safe being around people accused of being sexual abusers.
5. any victim of sexual assault, including the victim of said sexual assault by Essex are allowed to still distrust her. it is literally a way of life to have people not trust you after you made a mistake, and to force people to accept you is like trying to force people to accept your apology for killing people.... sure, it apologies for the harm they done but it wont bring back the killed person. (or in this scenario, wont unsexually assault a victim.) basically, it wont fix what trust was broken with them.
forcing someone to forgive someone can actually even be even more traumatizing than the actual assault itself & put victims in scenarios where they feel even more unsafe. mental health units here advise against doing that for that specific reason being it can endanger a victim more or even force a victim to relive their trauma.
6. people have a right to access of information, and the human right to make informed decision without having outside parties purposefully obscure/censor the information.
dzqfegrsheteq stating that Essex sexually assaulted someone is purely only doing that, informing a person of information so they can make a informed decision.
Which means, people can see that information, and decide whether or not they forgive Essex for assault or not forgive them.
trying to tell me and DZQ to not warn people of Emma, is basically removing people's basic human right to informed decisions.
And if we went by that logic.. people would also not be allowed to release the epstein pedophile files, people wouldn't have gotten Critterkiddo's pro-pedophilia & pro-zoophilia ring arrested and the most recent ICE shooting caused by patrol officers would not be public available information.
So like.. basically I really dont think you should be telling people to not do this stuff. You can just block me and go on with your day instead of forcing a sexual assault victim to trust a sexual assaulter and tell them their experiences of other people literally stating they WANT ESSEX'S CRIMES LEGALIZED *arent real* or *not to be chalked up to said things*...... I mean, that's what I do when I don't agree with someone... even if I don't agree with them sexually assaulting people. I block them and leave them alone instead of suggesting they're "passive aggressive" and "irksome".
