OMG, This would explain alot.
Step 1: Start girlfriend on life on fel.
Step 2: Waits for universe to break and girlfriend to become Fel, or switch with Fel from one of the many various universes.
Step 3: Nothing happens, reread comic.
Problem realized, girlfriend wasn't reading yaoi comics. And now the world contemplates if the risk is worth it.
But, no, in all seriousness, you should do a short strip or something where Fel enters into another universe. Something different like all the females are human but all the males are anthros, or replaces male fel with female fel. Or just some guy in some universe actually makes his yaoi loving girlfriend read this and the two switch places or Lord Sauron appears, or he wishes upon a star for a girlfriend like Fel and it comes true
