A messy collection of some sketches between pieces and other practices, the main focus here was the leg augment which I sketched before doing the Lounging Scratch piece, and was the first attempt at using it, although the colors changed pretty quickly when trying to integrate them with Sass. It leans much more into the bagged look of some robotics I want to explore in my setting, specifically in this case for usage in more hazardous environments and general heavy duty operation hence its brighter stand out colors that aren't really cosmetic focused so much as eye catching.
The second implant is much more unique to some of my world building plans, long story short its supposed to be a digestive assistance implant operating either through enzyme synthesis or some sci-fi mechanic. It bridges a very immediate problem. Narratively it paves over the problem of eating human food as an alien and all the incompatabilites that'd entail (this probably isnt enough to address all the other things that'd come up fully at all. But I think its net to touch on in any capacity regardless!) It can create some fun narrative tension if it fails, but is mainly meant to act as a creepy more invasive looking implant that wraps around the guts of the user to add to the more alienating vibes of cyborg characters like Sass from the setting, (The technology is much more crude unlike the type of augments ya see in normal avali lore, hence why its all so much more bulky and invasive.) especially with some of the unpleasant visuals it opens up scene potential wise in servicing it, primarily the material roll needs to be replaced very infrequently but eventually. The external hatch to access it has abunch of sterility warnings saying not to open it outside of a clean environment. Then it unrolls into this weird transparent filament, which I think if rendered well would be a really cool visual.
So far its only appeared in the most recent piece I'd wrapped up at the time of posting where its actually visible for once due to the lack of shirt.
Other Avalis in the scene were just to try and draw one viewed more from the back and another with some drones they're controlling or something because its been too long since I've done dedicated robot sketching :P
