The Blue Wraith is a highly aggressive beaked wyvern native to the open grasslands of Shangrila. This flying predator is the scourge of all mid-size and small herbivores in the area. The combination of its aerial maneuverability and lightning attacks allows it to one-shot anything smaller than it (well, except for mages with a strong electrical affinity).

As is the case with many aggressive wyverns that inhabit Shangrila, not much research has been conducted regarding the habits and lifestyle of this species. What the scholars observed was that this species may live in bonded pairs. These sightings could not be investigated in detail as the wyverns seemed to notice the scholars rather quickly and began to attack, halting further observations.

The Blue Wraith's prey of choice seems to be Runnahverns and baby Grand Herbiverns. Each hunt is usually quick: the prey is taken out with a lightning strike from the Wrath's mouth and carried off in its talons.
