As December 31st comes to an end, a New Year begins, symbolizing the Chinese New Year of wisdom, I mean age, I mean the Horse. This marks the start of a new journey, and to celebrate this “New Year,” it all started when Palafin embarked on his personal journey into the “Flower Kingdom,” right next to the “Mushroom Kingdom.” It’s unknown why he swam all the way to another world, as it takes months or perhaps almost years to arrive there, but as Palafin jumped out of the water, he suddenly felt hungry after swimming all the way to the Flower Kingdom. One day, he discovered some floating Question Blocks in midair, and Palafin was confused about a question block that was floating in midair, wondering whether something might come out when he hit it. So he decides to jump as high as he can to reach them and hit them. Then a red mushroom with white polka dots (not poisonous) pops out of the Question Block and starts moving on its own. Palafin wouldn’t let that mushroom escape his grasp. As soon as he picked up the small red mushroom, he took a bite and felt a “tingling” sensation. He began to grow yellow and cyan hair that looked like giant puffy clouds of cotton candy, with a unicorn horn sprouting on top of his head. Additionally, the dolphin tail began to develop cotton-candy-like parts, and later it was largely replaced by a fluffy unicorn tail. Furthermore, the water cuffs on his legs began to sprout fluffy cotton parts between his feet and knee caps. Plus, his ears started to grow on his head, resembling a horse's or a unicorn's ears. As soon as his body and snout began to change, he instantly started to echo, due to his Animal instinct, and he began to “Neigh! Neigh! Neigh!” in a way that sounded like a wolf’s howl or a werewolf, as if he were going into “Super Saiyan” mode. When the transformation is almost finished, Palafin’s feet begin to shift into hooves, and the gloves that had been disappearing from him vanish completely. Although they're not turning into hooves like a real horse’s hooves, his hands start to grow bigger with the same color as the hooves instead, and on the other hand. His wrist continues to spread like “cotton candy,” with parts sprouting on his wrists. Finally, the white fur on his legs and chest expands further, and his mustache-like crest in the center begins to break apart as he transforms. In addition, Palafin's eyes take on a calm, unicorn-like expression, and he gains muscle in both arms. At that moment, Palafin understands he has become a Shiny Galarian Rapidash. With such a curious and relaxed expression, he decides to flex his muscles for a moment before continuing in his new form. Although there are many Pokemon forms he could transform into from this New Year's journey, but his adventure is just the only the beginning from the start.
