Last spring, I went for a walk in the forest for the first time that season. There is a very short period in spring when wild rosemary blooms here. Ours has a rich purple-pink color, and there is so much of it that it covers the slopes of the surrounding hills. Everything else was still dry, with almost no greenery yet, which made this sight all the more remarkable—something I never miss each year.. I sat on a tree stump, thought about life, and did a bit of pencil sketching on paper :)
