This lovely picture was a gift from 
crimsonlancer to be used as reference for an Honorverse style RPG setting where Shorttail was borrowed as a character to serve as Vic Shorttail, hero of the Galactic Union. I am beyond humbled to be asked to have my character used in the setting, not to mention this amazing and completely badass picture to accompany it. It even came with different color schemes and a wearable helmet o3o

Oh that's the kind of homebrew that goes a bit too far if you get too drunk in the right company. Imagine if you will an unholy mix of Stellaris, Honorverse, Shipbreaker/Homeworld and Traveller.
I have asked Shorty to use hir likeness for a local hero, Victoria Short, Hero of the Galactic Union Shi forced a rising Galactic Crisis on the run. Then again it wasn't much of a crisis, as much as a separatist/liberation movement... but they really should have found other means to achieve that than grey goo and autonomous fleets. It's the situation where nobody is really a bad or a good guy. Everyone acted the best way they could think of. Not really bad people, just on the different sides. Galactic Union by the way is a group 100+ Kardashev type 2 civilizations banded together under a single banner. If you can recognize the flag on Shorty's shoulder here, you might know where it's taken from
