Anyway a while back I saw a photo comparing the massive size difference between an Alaskan Malamute and an Alaskan Klee Kai (iirc director Simon Wells did say in an interview that Star was a Klee Kai), which gave me a cute idea to create a Balto malamute OC.

So here is a new lead dog for Steele’s team named Ford. After Steele’s musher decided that Steele is no longer an adequate sled dog after the event of the first movie, he sold/gave Steele away and replaced him with a more competent lead dog instead. Obviously Ford is much nicer to Star (and every other dog in Nome) than Steele ever was
