As a recognized Australian hero, Archer is very popular in Australia and among heroes. Archer is very wise and very deliberate in his pursuit of his goals. In battle, he first studies his enemy to learn their attacks and tactics, which is sometimes a great advantage for him when it comes time to counterattack. Many villains hate him for this, especially when their attacks are met with a counterattack from Archer. Conversely, some villains enjoy this kind of challenge. Pavel, for example, really enjoys fighting Archer. As an abrosexual, however, Archer has some difficulty in relationships, as his sexual preferences are constantly changing. For this reason, he doesn't enter into any relationships, partly because he doesn't have time for one. Curiously, he only has romantic interest in other men. He even once fell in love with Pavel, and they had sex, even though Archer strongly dislikes Pavel.
