Once again, I'm falling back on an old theme, and this time it's Alasdair's model railway. A little while back, I had a playlist of model railway tutorials playing as background noise while working on a new page, and one of them went over the process of building scenery using chicken wire, papier-mache and plaster bandage. I don't think it'd be a massive stretch to imagine that Alasdair would have used the same process on his layout - luckily for him, the Stellar Typhoon has enough newspaper subscribers among its ranks for him to always have a ready supply to hand.
