this day i kept getting sucked into watching short-form videos non-stop
normally this is something i try to avoid doing as much as possible, but for whatever reason i just couldn't stop myself from engaging in it :(
not saying short form is completely bad, but it really leaves me feeling horrid if i watch too much of it
i much prefer reading a book or sitting completely silent in my living room than watching this stuff
reels can be extremely funny and some of them are genuinely good, but i think the majority of it is pretty much vapid nothing sludge
I don't ever really feel like i learn or retain anything from it
kinde feels like getting neuralized to me

I always wonder in stories why some characters will hold onto cursed objects that do damage to them over time, just because they become a little possessive over it? So silly, right? Then the IPhone and social media came along and alas, the stories were actually being reasonable haha
