although, this is a grey fox skull ! ^^ kinda even cooler IMO, not too common to come by, at least where I live (for reference , I've been collecting and cleaning skulls for almost 7 years)

I had the body at one time with this one. It was a oppussom, the muzzle is a squished shape. I do have a few canine ones and it's not shaped the same. This box is rather small and came from dollar tree to

possums have very small brain cases and a prominent ridge, and wide zygomatic arches :3

you can also count the insicors (or the holes) possums have 5 insicors

a fox, grey fox in this matter, has a larger, round head and a thin muzzle. Most notably, the "U" shape ridge on the top of the head is undoubtedly not that of an opossum

I've collected lots of possums and seen dooozens of their skulls of super super fresh bodies, same with grey and red foxes

u def mixed up the bodies or it was so rotted u just couldn't ID it correctly
