Reference sheet for my primary fursona, WYVERN.
He's a caracal / puma mix and has housecat-like tendencies.
While fairly timid and a bit of a pushover, he's incredibly kind-hearted and paternal towards those he cares for. He loves to cook and gift give to others, showing love and adoration through these acts of servitude. Despite this more laid-back behaviour, he's super into metal music and an avid concert goer. (power metal, my beloved...)
He's also just. Fucking tired. All the time.

Caracal / Puma (cougar, catamount, mountain lion, whatever you wanna call it)

Some designs details:
- Slit pupils (dilate like the average cat, but never quite get fully circular)
- His feet are declawed :/ (I have chronic pain + arthritis and wanted to sort of mirror that with him in a way)
- Retractable finger claws (tend to keep them sheathed in most instances, but in public he keeps them out in a sort of intimidation/safety tactic)
- His hair is versatile and can be drawn in any way- 90's boy band bangs, man buns, long and braided, etc. (never drawn bald. Only shown in ref for... reference.)
- Ears are tufted! (drawn with two spikes at the end always!)
- Small horizontal scar only under right eye
- Long, single-coloured tail that is slightly thicker towards the tip than at the base
- Plantigrade, however he walks on his toes when not wearing footwear
- Diamond-shaped starburst marking on chest (matches my other two sonas)
- Simple top surgery scars
- Has a brown triangular-shaped marking on chin that looks and acts like a beard ("stubble" lines are random along jawline)
- ALWAYS drawn with elbow fluff and ear-base fluff!

He dresses comfortably and not for style. Any fashion sense is purely coincidental.
Prefers to wear jeans and a band tee, but can be found wearing hoodies, button ups, and other similar lounge wear inspired clothes. Hates wearing socks/shoes, but will when going out and about... but if he's at home? Them dawgs are OUT.

While omnivorous, he is an avid meat-eater and calls himself a carnivore often. Red meats and seafood are his favourites, but generally isn't picky. Loves trying new foods- be it eating them or cooking them.

His favourite colour is actually purple :^)
