I liked that version of the show. Mum-ra got quite the impressive upgrade going from recurring villain of the week to dangerous, calculating villain that required real efforts to defeat and not just a mirror to make retreat. The other character designs and changes were great too. The 'mutant' leaders got actual names and all the new, different lores were interesting. I also liked the nods to potential returns of other late-series characters from the original show.
This work looks cool. I wonder how a version of the show using this style might fair.

Panthro: "DANG BLAST IT! Worthless piece of junk! Blasted stabilizer spirals are completely shot!!"
Tigra: "...So it seems. How to things looks otherwise?"
Panthro: "Not too bad. All in all. Pretty sure I can scrounge enough metal and equipment from the wreck to build ourselves a ThunderTank."
Tigra: "Good idea. We can always count on you, Panthro."
Panthro: "No problem. Main thing in an emergency is to stay calm." [He says as he straightens a steel beam with his bare hands]
Hehehe, when I was 4 years old, all I wanted to be when I grew up was friggin' Panthro. X3

The way I see it, this is actually how I'm able to imagine what the characters from "Thundercats" would look like if the cartoon series came out during the 1990s when the anthropomorphic/mutant hero craze was still going on due to the popularity of TMNT around that time, and I definitely prefer this style over the human-like designs of the original cartoon (and the less we talk about "Thundercats Roar", the better). ;)
