I know I have said it countless times already, but I can say it again: your artwork just begs to be paired with some fantasy writing. But it's got to be of the good kind, the kind that sticks with the reader and makes them feel like they've gained a new perspective on the present.
Looking at this, its many little details give it a great deal of emotional weight despite the tranquil appearance of the scene. While it's true I don't know what I should feel about this artwork, I keep wondering what could've led this long-tailed critter to this point, who they are, what'll happen next...
It makes for a very good springboard for the imagination, and once I've had enough of pondering this hypothetical scene it also makes for a good landing cushion with its cool tones and the waviness of its lineart. All in all, a great piece.
