Imagine all those prisoners flocking to Fantom's leadership."
You raise your hand. "Fantom?" you ask.
"Ah. I mean Magical Containment Inmate VII. MCI-VII is - oh, she's such a goof, I'm sure they'd all be totally doomed if they tried to follow her, but still. She would escape, and we simply can never have that happening. Perpetually kept in a mix of sedation and - well, let's not give away all the details. Suffice to say, she's properly contained and we intend to keep it that way. VII has been transferred around and we've tried various other ways to bind her.
Why, last month you probably saw her in the steel trap; the one with the leather, the hoods, the other hoods, and all those rune-stencilled gear. It worked great, but Alysa Prison is also on the FOREFRONT of new technology to contain and keep the reprobates off the streets. Hence, this room.
Heavy black iron and steel welded shut, tubes and backups, it's all quite strong. I don't think she can even twitch those hands or speak a single word of magic.
The rare occasions when she "wakes up" she thrashes like a fish in a net, but that's all. Now now, I'm sure they're both asleep. We can move on, they're not going anywhere. No, she's definitely not "faking" being asleep, I'd no. No, she's not plotting anything - now please, we've got to get moving, we have other sites to see.
