Después de la cena de Año Nuevo, una tía mía me pidió que le dibujara a su gata, puesto a que a ella le gustó el dibujo que le hice a Bobby (el gato de mi abuelita). Duré casi una semana haciendo el dibujo, porque mi tía quería que su gata fuera lo más exacta a la foto posible, y de un gris más oscuro, y creo que le dí al tono ideal. Hay que tener sumo cuidado cuando pintas con acuarela, porque podrías romper la hoja en cualquier momento.
De todas formas, mi tía quedó muy satisfecha con el dibujo, creo que estoy mejorando mi técnica.

Anécdota divertida: Mi tía le puso a su gata “Chico” porque ella creía que era macho cuando era pequeña.

After New Year's dinner, my aunt asked me to paint her cat, since she liked the painting I did of Bobby (my grandma's cat). It took me almost a week to complete the painting because my aunt wanted her cat to be as accurate to the photo as possible, and in a darker shade of gray, and I think I got the tone just right. You have to be very careful when painting with watercolors because you could tear the paper at any moment.
Anyway, my auntie was very pleased with the drawing; I think I'm improving my technique.

Fun fact: My aunt named her cat "Chico" because she thought it was a male cat when she was a kitty.
