Christmas morning shot of our boy Kira unwrapping the exact 64GB DDR5 kit he’s been harassing us about for months. All so he can start learning 3D modeling and rendering alongside Alyssa and me. Kid’s hands shook opening it, then tears hit; pure joy tears while he stared at the sticks like they were magic.

Tillie actually let herself smile. Yes, an actual smile, eyes soft, watching our kid be happier than she ever got to be growing up. I got misty eyed myself... okay, fine, mostly over the chunk that just vanished from my brokerage account. Kid’s gonna make fire art, though.
