Redrum is Duacrius' father, and is very old, even for a Ninetales. He was used for breeding for a long time until the old man, the one who have Ardra Duacrius, retired, which he gave all his left over breeding Pokemon to Ardra, including Duacrius' father named Redrum.

Redrum was very attached to the Flareon that was Duacrius' Mother, as she was his first love and had the most children with her. 245, the last time I counted. Duacrius was egg 76 of the pairing between Redrum and the Flareon, and is the only one of Redrum's children who is taking care of him in his old age. After the death of his 'wife', Redrum began to drown his sorrow and despair in Lemonades and Rare Candies(Which I believe have some sort of substance in them similar to 'legal' street products.) to the point where he's become addicted to them.

Unfortunately, even without having eaten a Rare Candy, he has some difficulties with things, such as hallucinations, yelling things out randomly, like Turrets, unable to walk in a straight line, and often needs help with simple things, like eating. I believe this isn't because of the candies, but maybe a Pokemon version of Alzheimer's Disease, as Redrum functions just fine when he's having the candies, even if he is a little bit whacky.

In this picture, Duacrius has finaly gotten him to fall asleep after a three day Rare Candy binge. What he's jumping into is a mountain of Rare Candies.
