thinking about a high fantasy AU with Sal and Jay again to give my brain a break from their actual story.

Where Jay was once a peasant boy, trapped and cursed by a hag, but after properly speaking with the entity attached to him with Sal's help, he's been given the power and mission to now hunt said hag, who has stolen a precious artifact from his patron, the source of this hag's power.

Meanwhile Sal continues to be a lake siren, who knew Jay since he was a simple peasant and Immediately went to search for him when he was kidnapped. Even though she was too late to save him from the curse, she carried with her another means to help him, a tome of similar energy as Jay's patron. With it they made a connection and deal with the entity possessing him and were sent on their mission, tho it is unknown how or why this relic is aiding them, or speaking only to Sal.

That's kind of it, I don't really have specifics, just vague ideas and aesthetics cuz honestly that's what this is really for, a lil dash of high fantasy cuz i still love that =v=
