January 7th, 2026 - I started this illustration a while back with the bird clay sculpture, it went through a lot of iterations before I decided to write a story to actually get those details down. Really changed a lot over time, alot of scope creep. Took a really long time, but overall like how it turned out.
Overall I should get more practice writing. Don't usually write stories for illustrations but it certainly helps specify the details.
