I buy the blank white china, use thinned-down china paints and a crow quill pen to do the line work. Fire it in a kiln. Paint the first layer of color . Fire it again. Second layer of color...fire...Etc. I stop firing when I think it's done...
The color will never chip or fade...it's there for life...unless you drop the piece!!
