I never understood what the show was about... I thought it was something to do with trade and business or something.

Basicly she wanted to tag along with him unill they reach her old home. Him being a merchant needs to make money. So she helps out to raise his earnings. Destroying that dress in an episode put her in debt and several other happenings made that debt raise. On the way he tries and encounters several moneymaking scemes.

So....is it as boring and instructional as it sounds? Is there humor? I like funny stuff.

It had it's moments.

There was an episode where he blackmaile another merchant to extend him a credit for a few sets of armor, not knowing that the sure sell was not sure anymore and he had to pay back the dept or be permanently out of buisness (if not worse, have to wach it again).

Or were she tried some unfair trick to haggle down another merchant because she had seen someone using the same trick in the village were she ensured good crops.

Aside from that they had to hide her true nature because the church would have tried to hunt her down (which probably would have been more a bother than a danger).

Her loving apples, but would not believe him, that they would taste better baked with nuts and honey.

Take one of the wolves from Mononoke, able to take on a nearly human form with all the knowledge she could find in a small village and drop her into a large city. She will know her way around, but mistakes are sure to come up and there is a lot of stuff she doesn't know.

Oh, thanks to the church, single females should not travel with men they are not related or married with for example.

Somethimes it was funny, sometimes dangerous.

I only know of a german fansub.

I've never seen an English language version, but there are certainly fansubs out there (see link I posted above in response to another comment).

i havent had the opportunity to watch this said Anime yet but the more and more i see art and snippet clips from it the more i want to watch it. i hear a lot of good things about it!
beautiful work (from what i have seen of the show) on both of the characters. i love the angle here for some reason, the use of perspective is neat and clean.
you should definitely color this. it would look really beautiful. love all of the soft and small details you put in as well :)
